Sales / Kitchen Assistant

Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Sales / Kitchen Assistant who shares our passion for quality and customer service. In this role, you will work closely with the team, learning how to run the catering trailer independently, and eventually take on the responsibility of managing other staff. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:

• Daily preparation to open the trailer

• Closing the trailer at the end of the day

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation

• Taking customer payments

• Managing sales from the catering trailer

• Cooking curry breads and doughnuts

• Handling food allergy inquiries and ensuring safety

 

Salary:
Starting at £12.21 per hour

 

Hours:
Part-time
Shift patterns: 8.5-hour shifts per day, including a 1-hour unpaid meal break. Full weekend availability is expected.

• Thursday – Friday: 11:00 am – 7:30 pm

• Saturday – Sunday (including bank holidays): 10:00 am – 6:30 pm

 

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry

• Basic cooking skills

• Proficiency in English

• High standards of cleanliness and organisation

• A genuine interest or understanding of Japanese food culture
